Field Trip- Week Five

The Fiery Foxes built on their newspapers this week. Researching different facts about their favorite topic, then using these facts to create their very own crossword puzzle, which is to feature as a fun piece in their newspaper.

During Mathematics the Grade Threes experimented with different liquid measurements, practiced conversions with these measurements and made their own estimations based on the likely hood of the given activity.
We took a look at, created and discussed some of the different systems in the human body.
Feel free to ask our Foxes, how the following systems function and which organs are vital for its purpose?
- Nervous System
- Respiratory System

- Circulatory system

As well as the skeletal, muscular and digestive systems. The Grade3s made me very proud showing their ability to connect and transfer previous knowledge, acquired from the beginning of this unit, to their current learnings and understandings.

The Grade 3`s were exceptionally excited for this 'coming to an end of unit' field trip. They were buddied up and set off to better acquaint themselves with the knowledge behind the science.
