A very Happy New Year to all of you!
The Fiery Foxes were beaming with excitement when they arrived back at school. After the much needed and well-deserved holiday, they were very keen on sharing their exciting adventures with one another, then took to their books to create a written piece describing the enthralling events that took place during their holiday.
It was a week of Assessments because of Tracker Day 2, but we managed to recap and expand on the different types of Natural Phenomena found in our world and universe. The Foxes loved spinning the wheel to reveal their research project topic, which is based on EXTREME Natural Phenomena. During Science they learnt about energy, engaging with interactive tools to help them understand how Kinetic energy can be transferred into thermal energy and vice versa.
In PE our Grade Threes developed their skills further by means of controlling a ball with their hand/s and body so that they are able to incorporate a ball into their gymnastic routine.
