Book and Culture- Week One

Inventions from Ancient Egypt

Get your cameras out!
The Fiery Foxes worked exceptionably hard on their research projects, finding out about an invention from the Ancient Egyptian Civilization, which is still present in our lives today.

They converted their presentations into PDF form and generated a QR code by themselves, so that YOU can have easy access to their work.

Please use the camera on your cell phone to see what they have been working on.
*You may need to scan closer or further away for some of the QR codes.

Book & Culture Week
Breath-taking, the school was transformed into a gallery displaying a diverse array of cultures from around the world. This display allowed us to immerse ourselves into each culture like it was our very own bringing us cultural awareness.
Each morning between 09:00 and 09:15 the school was to DEAR- Drop Everything And Read!

Funky hat and socks day.

Learning and admiring the gallery and displays in the hallway and library.

Good helping and cleaning up after the preparation process.

Time to taste the yummy result.

This week would not have been possible if it was not for the Book and Culture committee, PTA and all the moms that pulled through to help out. We appreciate all the late nights and long hours you put into Book and Culture week to make it all the more special for our students and everyone else.
THANK YOU!
