Dancing around the world- Week Two

 Dancing around the world!

The Grade Threes have begun their research project and are busy researching the different traditional dances from around the world, including those in their own country.

We have also been learning about the different elements of dance and what contributes to each category.
BASTE- Body, Action, Space, Time and Energy

During PE, the Fiery Foxes were tasked with creating their own 20 second dance.
This they had to do without any music.

In English, the Foxes have shifted their focus onto opinion writing pieces.
`Pets should be allowed at school.`
`Children should attend school on Saturdays and Sundays.`
`All children should participate in a sport.`
and
`Government should ban children under the age of twelve from eating chocolate.`
What do you think they had to say about these topic sentences?
💡
In Mathematics, we continued looking at graphs, plotting coordinates and studying compass directions.

Also, how lucky we are to have celebrated another very special birthday at the beginning of the week!
🎉HAPPY 9th BIRTHDAY!🎁

Finally...because the rain stopped us today, the sponsor run will take place next week Friday.
Have a beautiful weekend!
